About Tonight Only
Tonight Only is the ninth album released by Healey St. The music formula for this project is completely different previous albums. There are nine songs, all covers from the eighties. The intent is basically what you would hear from a set delivered by a band from that era. Hopefully bringing back some memories. Monday England was an actual band I played with back then in the day. The Firebird was as close as I could get to a DeLorean, this was my car, an 83 with t-tops and a V6, great for time travel.

The beautiful album cover: The art for this album was created by Nori. Here you can see more of her beautiful art @https://www.instagram.com/nonno_3636/?e=925b8073-5f96-4d67-9cf0-cd27a46b5948&g=5.

The album/set begins with:

Come As You Are- A different take on a Nirvana classic. Just a little more guitar. I had invited my old band to play on this album, they didn't. I thought this song would be appropriate. I don't have a gun.

Under the Milky Way-Another creative cover, the original was from the Australian band The Church. This song really challenged my lower vocal range. Nori made this beautiful painting for this song, it'll be featured in the video.
Johnny B-I kept this pretty close to the original Hooters song, except of course the guitar solo. I had to do my own thing.

The Breakup Song-I think every band in the eighties played this song from The Greg Kihn Band.

Hey There Delilah- What a beautiful melody and lyrics to this love song from the Plain White T's, I took it a little slower.

The One I Love- Such a fun R.E.M song with so much double meaning. It's funny how one word can change your perspective.

Cruel to be Kind- I know who Nick Lowe was singing about, I'm sure all of you have met her at one time.

With or Without You- I decided to do something completely different then the original U2 song. Just acoustic, piano and voice I wanted a stripped down version. The beautiful angelic art from Fischer Irena will be featured in this song when the video comes out.

Walk of Life-Very much a fun song to do from Dire Straits, some people think he's talking about John Lennon what do you think?
