About Rough Drafts
Rough Drafts is the first album released by Healey St. It consists of eight songs, two cover songs and six originals. The album begins with:
Need Your Love So Bad-Great song originally performed by Little Willie John and then later by Peter Green, it was written by Little Willie's brother Mertis John Jr.

Hey Annie-I wrote this song for my wife Robin, her middle name is Ann. It's a 50's style tune about the adventures in Bandland.

Gretsch-This song is about how we can lose our ideals for money. How we can compromise our standards for the greater good, at least that's what we tell ourselves.
Strange Place-I wrote this song to be as vague as possible and be relatable to almost any situation, whether it is relationships, politics, religion or ETC.

The Best of Times-This song celebrates family, it's initially about a trip a family would take every year to the beach. This is something my family did every year and still does now, when your a kid you have no idea how important these times can be for you.

Times Squared-This is about two people that aren't able to connect. When I first wrote this, the idea was that the couple would be time travelers who would miss each other when they would try to connect.

When She Comes-Is about waiting for someone and not losing faith. Do you believe God is a woman?

Keep Me In Your Heart-A Warren Zevon song that I did a creative edit of, I followed the bare bones of this song. Whenever I play this song, I think of my wife and everything I would leave behind when I pass.

Knocking On Heavens Door-A Bob Dylan tune that I arranged as a cross between the original and the Guns & Roses version.
